Social Responsibility

BMGI currently supports a number of worthy causes under the umbrella of Social Responsibility and Enterprise Development. In addition to financial and non-financial donations we also strive to provide these worthy organisations with skills and knowledge to empower them to not only sustain their worthy contributions to society but to expand and grow their scope of offering.

BMGI has been in association with Employment Solutions (Section 21 Company (1999/15928/08) since 2007. We have provided support and sponsorship to many of their social events and continue to assist where possible.

To secure its sustainability a basic business approach was implemented and all activities are focused on the creation of employment opportunities for people with disabilities by:

• Providing a stable, self-sustaining and real working environment.
• Providing a structured disability-friendly work environment.
• Enhancing mobility by providing access to relevant assistive devices.
• Becoming a preferred supplier of labour-intensive operations to various companies.

BMGI joined forces with Noah in 2010 to assist them with putting together a robust strategic plan to assist them in planning for their future. Noah is a very worthy cause and we continue to provide financial assistance towards their many worthy feeding schemes.

Noah was born in 2000 from a need to take responsibility for AIDS orphans in South Africa. Our vision is to give them an opportunity to grow up into emotionally, psychologically and physically healthy adults.
